October 2nd, 2009: Our first born son came into our world and rocked it hard. It has been a long time coming and the joy that you put on our faces, well it is just indescribable. We knew being a parent would be amazing but it is definitely a lot more than “amazing”. It really does put everything in perspective. Why the world spins, why the sky is blue, why people do the things they do. It is a gift, all of it is a gift and until you have a moment in your life that puts you in your place, well take full advantage of doing the things you do.
Calvin Grey Choi was born 6lbs 13ozs and 18.75in tall. Not a big baby, not a tiny baby, in our eyes, just right. Methuselah and I aren’t big on “big” things. We make due with what we got and cherish the things that make our family, well, our family. We are surrounded by loved ones all the time and in the end, that is all that matters to us. So today, on my birth of my son, I have decided to dedicate one photo per day, so that he may remember the things he did to make our world turn upside down.

Calvin, your mother and I love you and we will show you everyday.
